These Terms & Conditions apply to services provided by My Touch Repairs at 70 Murray St, Hobart, TAS 7000 and through mtrecomit.com.au. By booking a service, requesting a quote, approving a repair, purchasing a product, or leaving a device with us, you agree to these terms.
We provide diagnostic, repair, replacement, accessory, and related technical services for supported devices. All services are subject to device condition, part availability, technical feasibility, and our assessment at the time of inspection.
Any timeframes provided are estimates only. While we aim for same-day service where possible, completion times may vary depending on the complexity of the repair, internal device condition, testing requirements, and stock availability.
All quotes are based on the symptoms, faults, and physical condition visible or reasonably identifiable before repair. Some faults only become apparent once a device is opened, tested further, or a damaged component is removed.
If additional faults, prior repair issues, hidden damage, corrosion, board-level problems, or unrelated defects are found during assessment or repair, we may provide an updated quote or revised recommendation before continuing.
By leaving your device with us for diagnosis or repair, you authorise us to carry out reasonable inspection, testing, disassembly, reassembly, and repair procedures necessary to assess or complete the requested service.
We use Original Equipment (OEM) parts or premium-grade compatible parts, depending on model availability, market supply, and the repair option selected. Part type may be discussed with you before the repair is completed where appropriate.
Warranty Statement: Repairs completed using Original Equipment (OEM) parts or premium-grade compatible parts are backed by a 12-month warranty covering the installed part and our workmanship, subject to the conditions and exclusions set out below.
Some compatible parts may differ slightly in colour tone, brightness, finish, calibration, feel, or manufacturer branding when compared with an original factory-installed component. These differences do not automatically indicate a defect.
Our warranty is designed to cover genuine part defects and workmanship issues directly related to the repair completed by us. It does not operate as a general device insurance policy or as blanket coverage for all future faults.
While we take reasonable care during repairs, electronic devices can fail unpredictably, especially where there is prior damage, liquid exposure, battery swelling, board corrosion, structural weakness, or previous third-party work.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, our liability is limited to the value of the repair, replacement part, or product supplied by us. Nothing in these terms excludes any rights or remedies that cannot be excluded under Australian Consumer Law.
Our goods and services come with guarantees that cannot be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law. Nothing in these Terms & Conditions is intended to exclude, restrict, or modify any rights you may have under applicable law. Where a remedy is available under law, it will be handled in accordance with those legal obligations.

These Terms & Conditions are governed by the laws of Tasmania, Australia. Any dispute arising in connection with our services or website will be subject to the jurisdiction of the courts of Tasmania.
At My Touch Repairs, your satisfaction is our priority. If your order isn’t delivered, arrives damaged, or has a printing fault or error caused by us, you’re eligible for a full refund. No need to return the phone case, just contact our support team, and we’ll process your refund quickly and easily!
Shipping is free of charge for orders over A$35. For orders below this amount, a flat rate of A$4.50 will be applied per order.
The delivery time is typically 7-10 business days for shipments within Australia. Orders are shipped via Australia Post or Aramex and most parcels are designed to fit in a standard mailbox. Mail is delivered Monday through Saturday, excluding Sundays and federal holidays.
